PATRIOT'S 5K

This run is a special event to recognize and support the wounded service members being treated at McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond. Proceeds will be given to the Families of the Wounded Fund. This charitable (501(c)(3) organization uses virtually all monies contributed to directly assist the families of these heroes

Course: a very flat dirt and grass out and back run in rural Powhatan at the site of a special 4th of July Concert later in the day. (Walkers are welcomed).

Waiver: I know that running a trail race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running this event, including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather,

entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Richmond Road Runners Club, the Town of Powhatan, Families Of The Wounded Fund, and all other sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver, I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recording or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. This is a road race conducted under the rules of TAC and RRCA. In consideration of the safety of all participants. NO baby joggers, baby strollers, headphones will be allowed.
